About ThinningFix

We built ThinningFix because the internet is full of bad hair loss advice — and men deserve better.

The problem we're solving

If you've ever Googled "how to stop hair loss", you know the landscape. Miracle serums. Affiliate farms dressed up as review sites. Reddit threads where nobody knows what they're talking about. Dermatologists who bill by the minute and barely explain anything.

The actual evidence on hair loss — what works, what doesn't, what's worth your money — is buried under a mountain of noise. ThinningFix is our attempt to dig it out.

How we approach content

Evidence over anecdote

We cite published research, clinical trials, and expert consensus. If something is unproven, we say so. If the evidence is weak, we say that too.

No miracle cures

Hair regrowth is genuinely hard. We won't tell you that a shampoo or supplement will fix your hairline. If the data doesn't support it, we won't recommend it.

Plain English

We write like a mate who's done the research — not a pharmaceutical insert, not a wellness blogger. You'll always know exactly what we're saying and why.

Transparent about affiliates

Some of our links are affiliate links. We earn a small commission if you buy through them. This keeps the site running. It does not influence our recommendations — if a product is bad, we'll tell you.

What we cover

  • Treatments: Minoxidil, finasteride, dutasteride, PRP, LLLT, hair transplants — the full spectrum with honest expectations.
  • Product Reviews: Shampoos, supplements, topicals, and systems — tested against the evidence, not just marketing claims.
  • Hair Science: The biology of hair loss — DHT, follicle miniaturisation, the hair cycle — explained without jargon.
  • Grooming for Thinning Hair: Practical advice on cuts, styling, and looking your best while you deal with it.
  • Brand Comparisons: Side-by-side breakdowns so you can make an informed choice without visiting fifteen different sites.

Who writes this

ThinningFix is written by a small editorial team who've done the reading, spoken to dermatologists, and — yes — dealt with hair loss personally. We're not doctors and we don't pretend to be. What we are is rigorous, honest, and genuinely invested in giving you useful information.

Important: Nothing on ThinningFix is medical advice. If you're concerned about your hair loss, speak to a dermatologist or GP. We can help you understand the landscape — they can diagnose and treat.

Keep up with us

We publish new guides, reviews, and research breakdowns regularly. The best way to keep up is our weekly newsletter — no spam, just the good stuff.
